Mold Construction

For now more than several decades SKT´s mold tool construction division professionally manufactures precision mold tools, swivel plates, precision milled parts and electrodes required for assembling of high-end plastic components. Mold tools by SKT are well-known for their precision and their durability as well as easy maintenance.

SKT takes care of all requirements concerning mold tool construction, mold tool manufacturing as well as tool maintenance. No matter whether development, construction and making of new mold tools, modification of mold tools, extensions, repair or restoration of tools – our mold tool division professionally and carefully manages every aspect concerning mold tools and its handling devices.

All injection molds will be manufactured in our new tool shop build in 2017 within the new company building of our sister company BKT. If requested by the customer, we also manufacture mold tools abroad - worldwide.

Mold tool services

SKT´s mold tool service range comprises every manufacturing process you expect from a high-end mold tool service provider: Milling, CNC milling, copy milling, wire-cut EDM, plunge EDM, flat and cylindrical grinding, radio erosion technology and 3D milling. Mold tool manufacturing is being supported and controlled by CAD/CAM software. Data is being transferred online from the computer´s CAD software onto the mold center. The mold center then automatically takes care of the manufacturing of the mold tool. This way errors normally caused by manual data transfer can be successfully eliminated.

Hightech Machinery

For manufacturing and maintenance of mold tools a hightech machinery is available. SKT´s machinery includes several high-performance sinking and wire-cut EDM machines, several flat and profil grinding machines, various precision milling machines, various jig milling machines as well as several powerful press machines.
